Seabourn Encore sails into Nelson as first journey ship of season

Nelson's mid year voyage deliver season is in progress, with the appearance of the Seabourn Encore. 

The ship, with 605 travelers and in excess of 300 group, halted by in Nelson on Thursday before going to the North Island. 

Worked in 2016, the 210-meter-long super yacht has been cruising around New Zealand in the wake of leaving from Sydney on December 21. 

It landed in Fiordland on December 28 and went up the east shoreline of the South Island. It is booked to land in Auckland on January 6. 

The Seabourn Encore is the first of seven journey boats to visit Nelson this late spring. 

On January 26 both the Maasdam and Seven Seas Voyage will be in Nelson around the same time, bringing in excess of 2000 travelers into the area.
